November 10th- The Talbott Brothers
"Blood is thicker than water and there’s nothing like family creating music together to prove it. With contrasting blood-harmonies and left-handed/right-handed guitar playing, singer-songwriter duo The Talbott Brothers combine rock, blues and pop with honest storytelling.
Nick and Tyler were born and raised in Imperial, a small town in Southwestern Nebraska, just a stone’s throw from the Colorado border. They began writing and performing together before relocating to their mother’s birthplace of Portland, Oregon. Tyler, the youngest (lead vocals, baritone guitar, harmonica) and Nick, the oldest (backing vocals, lead guitar) discovered their love of music after digging their dad’s old dreadnaught guitar out of the basement and teaching themselves to play along to Johnny Cash, Bob Seger and the Beatles on vinyl.
Following the release of 2017’s GRAY, they found themselves in front of sold out crowds in the US and sharing the stage with ZZ Ward, Johnnyswim and AJR. Ear to the Ground Music dubbed the record as one of the ‘Top 5 Albums of the Year’ stating it as, “equal parts optimistic and captivating, inspiring and hopeful.” Through rigorous touring and over half a million streams on Spotify, they continue to build a strong and loyal fanbase wherever they go." December 14th-The Cat's Pajamas
Delores Ideker Christmas Program
"The Cat's Pajamas are 5 high energy singers who create all the sounds of a band using only their voices. The group was formed in 2005 by Brian Skinner whose passion and drive for performing and music production is the heartbeat (and drum beat) of The Cat's Pajamas. The original members had previously worked together in college groups at The University of Wisconsin such as the Wisconsin Singers and a cappella groups the MadHatters and Redefined. The first time The Cat's PJs ever performed together was for the 2005 Oreo Cookie Jingle competition. They then recorded a demo and searched everywhere for gigs until their first big break when they were offered a 6 month stint on Celebrity Cruise Lines as the in house a cappella group. After their first contract, The Cat's Pajamas moved on to be hired as guest entertainers by Norwegian Cruise Lines. The Cats performed 40 weeks a year onboard NCL from 2007-2009, and quickly became their highest rated act. (Also being asked to sing as part of Oprah's Cruise of a Lifetime) The Cats also found themselves on America's Got Talent and The Next Great American Band. After 3 years of perpetual cruising and touring on land, in the fall of 2009, The Cat's Pajamas decided to move down to Branson, Missouri. Often named the "Live Music Show Capitol of the World", Branson is a vacation destination to over 8 million visitors each year. Since the move they've been performing over 200 shows a year! In the fall of 2011 The Cat's Pajamas reached millions of new viewers when they performed on NBC's hit show The Sing Off. The Cat's Pajamas then were hand picked by the amazing Andy Williams himself to continue his legacy at his his Moon River Theatre in 2012 and 2013. In 2014, The Cat's Pajamas performed nighty at Music City Centre Theater on the Branson's strip and also headlined at Resorts Casino( a Mohegan Sun property) in Atlantic City, NJ. In 2015 and 2016, The Cat's Pajamas found themselves performing nightly in the Supper Club on board the beautiful Norwegian Escape and also onboard Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Oceania, and Disney Cruise lines. The summer of 2017 brought The Cat's Pajamas to The City of Virginia Beach's - Beach Street USA concert series, where they performed nightly. They were choosen to be a part of PBS' TV special "Doo Wop Generations" which aired nationwide in March of 2018. The Cat's Pajamas - vocal band were also selected to sing on Broadway as part of an a cappella competition at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre after an evening performance of the hit musical "Kinky Boots". (at the time starring Wayne Brady, David Cook and Pentatonix' Kirstin Maldonado)
Helping to inspire students through music for a lifetime of music appreciation.
Since their inception, The Cat's Pajamas have always been involved in education and giving back to the school systems that made them successful. This was the inspiration for their "Music in Schools" fundraising tour. All five members work with kids by teaching breathing, singing techniques, confidence, vocal percussion, performance tips, and overall trying to keep them excited and involved with singing. Each year they perform at approximately 40 schools and have raised over $120,000 to date for music-arts programs all over the country."
